    Description

    This is a very rare long vest, part of the traditional ethic costume for women, made and used by the small ethnic group living in Macedonia, Vlasi. The vest was made of pure and organic sheep wool, natural coloring. It is decorated with hand embroidery, unique and typical pattern for the women of this ethnic group. The vest was made in the first half of the XX century and is kept in a very good condition. It is a long and heavy vest, also known as klasenik, vest for the winter costume. It was common part of the costume in the villages of Sofilari near the city of Stip and the village of Vrbica, near Kocani.
