This is a unique Vintage Folk Art Mandolin or possibly a Tamburica. As noted on the side, it is handmade in Yugoslavia. This wood piece features a carved horses head at the top and measures approximately 9 3/4 inches long. It is in good condition with no chips. However, it will need to be restrung.
